The Emotion Code

Created by: Dr. Brad Nelson

This protocol uses Applied Kinesiology to identify trapped emotional energies in the body that are causing disruption. The premise behind this is that emotions are ‘energy in motion’. When energy is unable to move thru our body in a natural and healthful way it gets stuck. Dr. Nelson discovered that negative emotions get trapped in our body as “energy balls” that interfere with the body’s intrinsic homeostasis. This results in a number of issues; such as depression, pain, injuries that do not properly heal, and otherwise inexplicable ailments.

Common examples of what causes an emotion to become trapped are:

Personal experiences that have not been properly processed and/or acknowledged

Emotional and physical abuse and neglect

Inherited emotions trapped in our DNA

Negative emotions absorbed from other people

How to Release Trapped Emotions

The identification of the trapped emotion, and revealing of specific details pertaining to the catalyst moment(s) initiates a conscious/subconscious connection that facilitates the release of these emotional energies. Once a connection is made there may be follow up actions that help the body process what it was not able to at the time of the event. This may include the individual needing to express the identified emotion in some manner, seeing the event through new eyes, learning what lesson this emotion provided, and/or other such things that the body-mind resonates with.

The results of releasing trapped emotions are as varied as the individuals and symptoms they caused. Anything from emotion release, relief, and change; to alleviation of pain, unexplained symptoms, and a new understanding of why ones life has the pattern it has had. The effects can be instant and/or take days to process through the body.

The World Viewed Through Emotions

Other emotional factors can govern how a person perceives the world and how they react to it. People very often run on an ‘auto pilot’ that is controlled by subconscious programming. This program comes from our experiences, social conditioning, and other factors that were present in our lives; typically from the ages of 0-7 years old. Even things the mother experiences while the fetus is in the womb play a part in shaping us.

Very often we resort to negative behavior when life presents challenges. We look back on our behavior and wonder what happened. We think ‘I know better’ than to behave in such a way. That is an example of ‘auto pilot’ kicking in. This is one reason it is difficult to apply positive self help initiatives. We learn to better ourselves, but unless we change our subconscious programming, we default to ‘old’ ways.

The Emotion Code helps to identify negative programming and rewrite it!
